Moses Young: Meet The Founder Of SDGs-Student Ambassadors

Moses Young

Moses Young is an SDGs-Student Ambassador. He is the founder of “SDGs-Student Ambassadors”– a movement by Nigerian students, to be a torch-bearer, leading the advocacy for the 2030 agenda. Moses, who was a former member of Nigeria Children Parliament, is also a peer educator/change facilitator under the International Youth Forum.

Young enjoys working with local and international organizations that provide platforms for him to maximize his youthful potentials and speaking for others. He believes he has the potential to change the world, likewise every youth. He is inspired to see young people discover themselves at an early age by applying their creative and innovative ideas to create solutions for real world problems. Moses Young is currently studying at Nasarawa State University and he is the President of Junior Chambers International (JCI) Nasarawa State University branch.

There will also be a workshop on the 3rd of June 2016, at Assembly Hall, Nasarawa State University in Keffi, by 10AM. This workshop will provide a place for young people to have an interactive session to discuss on themes, come up with solutions, which are all to be forwarded to the Senior Special Adviser to the President on SDGs, as well as the SSA to the President on Youth/Students Matters and other country representatives of Nigeria. This workshop will be focusing on university students, secondary school students and SDGs stakeholders. It will be a workshop, that youths should not miss!
