Manchester City have confirmed that Star manager, Pep Guardiola will succeed Manuel Pellegrini as the club’s boss this summer.

Sky Sport reports that the star manager will take over on a three-year contract with Pellegrini set to officially depart on June 30.

“Out of respect for Manuel Pellegrini and the players, the Club wishes to make its decision public to remove the unnecessary burden of speculation,” City said in a statement.

It would be recalled that Guardiola announced in December that he would leave Bayern Munich in May after three years at the German club, with an intention to coach in England next season.
