Six police teams, including the crime branch, got down to track the kidnapper. The woman’s cell phone was put on tracking. The cops found her last location. When cops examined the CCTV footage of the railway station, they saw the woman walking alone. She was nabbed while trying to board a train to Churchgate on Monday evening, said inspector Vilas Sanap of Kashimira police station. The husband had approached the police after he received the messages and photograph.
She confessed to the crime and said that the idea was borrowed from a crime thriller on television. She told the police that she wanted to teach her husband a lesson as he did not share profits. They both teach in the coaching class but she was denied a good share, as alleged. The woman was allowed to walk free as the husband did not press charges against her. The husband told the police that he had two minor children and did not want them to suffer any trauma.
