Tuition Hike: LAUTECH Students to drag Oyo,Osun government to Court

The Ladoke  Akintola University of Technology Students Union has concluded plans to drag the Oyo  and Osun state  authorities to court, YOUTHS DIGEST  can report.
This is coming as the students are protesting against an increase in the Varsity’s tuition fee by the authorities.
The Students who earlier protested against the increase it was gathered opted for the court option in an effort to compel the owner states to fund the University of Technology and fight against the fee increase.
This was confirmed by a student Union  leader, Fawole Israel.
Multiple sources within the Union also confirmed this development.
The students’ Union President, Seun Laurel did not pick calls nor  respond to messages as at the time of this report
There has been crisis in LAUTECH  since the University announced an increase in tuition fee up to 250,000naira before reducing it to 170,000naira after series of protests and condemnations.
